Equipment Handover at Esher Rugby Club August 24 2015

We are proud to share these photos from the official handover of Esher Rugby Club's brand new equipment, including Safari Tackle Bags and Wedges. In this first photo, we have Mike Schmid (Director of Rugby, former Premiership and Canadian International Player) standing alongside Nigel Scott (Vice President of Esher Rugby Club) with our own Guy Davison (Chairman of Safari Sports) on the far right!

The handover occurred just before the Esher v. London Welsh game, so we got some great shots of the players warming up with our Safari Contact Pads and Tackle Bags, both of which are made form top quality high density foam with a tough and durable Hi Vis orange PVC cover. Here the team can be seen using our Double Wedge contact pad:

Our tackle bags and wedges come in a variety of sizes to suit the needs of all players, from juniors to the professional level. For training purposes we also have the Curved Banana Shield for ruck and maul practice; the Safari Power Cube, which is perfect for muscle, power and balance training and is more versatile than the traditional medicine ball as well as our revolutionary ergonomic Ruck 'N' Roll - primarily designed for for coaching clearing out at the ruck drills, it was also develop head-on dip and drive tackling techniques. The Ruck 'N' Roll features two sets of handles for extra versatility and has undergone extensive testing at the highest level of both rugby codes.

Sadly the game was l ost 45-19 in the end, during which Esher showed incredible spirit and debutant James went over for his first try for the club. Needless to say, we're proud to see our equipment in use by such a fantastic club and we're looking forward to the next match versus Aberavon RFC on the 22nd August!
